One of the reasons it's so hard to decide on a wedding photography style is because there are so many different styles. Lots of brides and grooms may not even know what's out there.

Will you go with Traditional wedding photography? Photojournalistic? Vintage? Enchanting color vintage fusion?

And as if deciding on a style wasn't hard enough, you also need to decide on an actual photographer - you know, someone who will actually take the pictures. And so you're faced with yet another choice. "Do I use him? What about her? Oh, I heard he's good. What about...."

And so it goes. Nailing down your wedding photography - and photographer - can be a daunting task.

So we decided to step in and do something to help. Since we're all about making it easy for you to collect your guests' photos, we thought we'd try our hand at collecting something else - photographers.

Yep, that's right, Every Single Shot has obtained legal ownership of all wedding photographers in the United States. We've collected them at a small ranch in an undisclosed location in the midwest. Now when you're searching for photographers, all you need to do is put in a request at our website and we'll promptly ship you a few photogs of your choosing. Don't worry, we poke holes in the containers. :)

But seriously, we are collecting photographers - well, their blogs to be exact.

Right now we're collecting almost 40 different professional wedding photographers' blogs into one place. We've had about 140 blog posts over the last week alone. That's a lot of photography for brides to browse!

Suggest a photographer you love (it can even be you, we don't mind!) by going to Wedding Photography Blogs and clicking on "suggest". Share the site with your friends using the links for Facebook or Twitter. Subscribe to the RSS feed. If you think of a feature you'd love to see, leave a comment here and let me know about it.

We think that from now on it's going to be a little easier and a lot more fun for brides and grooms to choose their photographer and style.

Now you and your guests can comment directly on photos and videos uploaded to your photo album. As the account owner, you'll get an email anytime someone comments on a photo or video. In addition, anyone who's already on that photo/video will be emailed when new comments appear on it.

I've got some news to announce!

Every Single Shot now lets your guests share their videos of your big day as well as their photos!

So now, guests can upload their photos and videos. The original, full quality videos are preserved for you to download when you like, while a smaller version of the video is watchable right from the browser, just like YouTube, but way cooler. :)

Julie just made this really cool Wordle word cloud (say that 5 times fast) by using the Every Single Shot blog as the source of the words. Yep, a picture definitely is worth 1,000 words!

This is just a quick update to let you know about a few new features just added to Every Single Shot and to show off some cake pictures. :)

New features

First up, the new features. You asked for 'em, you got 'em. If there's something you'd like to see added to Every Single Shot, make sure to tell us about it.

View photos by guest

This is awesome if you just want to see all the photos a specific guest uploaded. Click on the guest's name and you'll get a nice list of every photo that guest has shared with you. Here we can see all the photos that Jon Chase has shared:

Activity stream

Whether you just got married a week ago or a year ago, you're probably pretty busy. That means you don't have a lot of time to sift through looking for the most recently uploaded photos in your albums. The activity stream view does all the hard work for you, letting you see the most recent uploads to your albums, saving you valuable time. You can see the new activity stream on the left:

Download albums as ZIP files

Want to download all the photos in an entire album? Just click the "download album" link inside any album and you'll be able to download 100's of photos in no time (only available for paid accounts).

"You've got photos!" emails

Anytime someone shares new wedding photos with you, we'll email you to tell you. Thumbnails and the guest's name are included in the email for maximum scanability (is that a word?).

Guests can download too

Now your guests can download the full quality, original photos that others have shared (only available for paid accounts).
